Mission Accomplished!

We did it! We’re proud to have partnered with Greater Good Charities, Wings of Rescue, and many other wonderful organizations for Paws Across the Pacific – the largest pet rescue flight in history! Over 600 pet passengers flew from Hawaii to the Pacific Northwest to find loving homes.

The Humane Society of Skagit Valley is proud to announce that we were able to bring in 60 cats and 13 dogs! Thank you to the wonderful staff and fantastic volunteers who helped us bring them home to the Pacific Northwest today! ❤

We’re so excited to find them loving homes in the Skagit Valley, and we know you’re excited to meet them, but please, hold off on calling and messaging the shelter for the next few days, to allow our staff time to do intake. We’ll be reviewing applications after Tuesday, November 3rd, but until then, we will have our hands full getting our new friends all checked in, safe and sound.

We appreciate your cooperation and support!

In the meantime, please be sure to check out the hashtags below to visit the Facebook pages for both Greater Good Charities and Wings of Rescue to learn more about this historic event and see some really touching behind the scene footage.

Thanks so much for all your continued support, Skagit Valley!
