Kennel attendants perform routine care as per established policies and procedures to ensure a healthy and humane environment for animals in our care. This work includes cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas and requires handling of animals to house, properly care for them, and to minimize their stress. The Attendant I position trains Kennel Attendant II & III staff and volunteers and supervises their day-to-day activities, offering guidance and correction when needed.

The Attendant III position is part-time, but may be full-time during peak seasons and reports to Kennel Attendant I for day-to-day instruction and guidance.
