Memorializing Your Loved One
Our Memorial Page is designed as a place of remembrance for those who have lost a loved one, be it furry or otherwise. Your lost love will live on forever on this page, with a beautiful tribute written by you to memorialize their life.
We ask for a donation of a minimum of $20 to help cover the cost of maintaining the memorial page, but you are certainly more than welcome to give more if it is in your heart to do so. All additional proceeds will go towards the care of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in our charge. Your donation is a thoughtful way of remembering loved one, or honoring someone special while supporting our mission of caring for animals in need. Grief is a natural response to loss. It’s the emotional suffering you feel when something or someone you love is taken away. Often, the pain of loss can feel overwhelming. You may experience all kinds of difficult and unexpected emotions, from shock or anger to disbelief, guilt, and profound sadness. The pain of grief can also disrupt your physical health, making it difficult to sleep, eat, or even think straight. These are normal reactions to loss—and the more significant the loss, the more intense your grief will be. The loss of a pet is no different than the loss of a family member, for our pets ARE family and losing them hurts just as much.
